Fishermen's Hall
A welcoming website for a historic community-owned venue in Buckie, built by and for the fishing community since 1886.

The Venue
The Fishermen's Hall is a historic venue built in 1886 by and for Buckie's fishing community. Now the second largest hall in Moray after Elgin Town Hall, it hosts a wide range of events from weddings and celebrations to coffee mornings and community meetings.
In 2018, the Fishermen's Hall Trust was established to bring the hall into community ownership. After a process delayed by the pandemic, the transfer was approved, returning this beloved venue to the people of Buckie.
Run by the community through the Trust, the hall continues to serve as a vital gathering place for the town.

The Outcome
The website gives the Fishermen's Hall Trust a platform to promote the venue and keep the community informed about upcoming events. It's helped raise awareness of the hall's availability for bookings and its place in Buckie's heritage.
With the events calendar and easy contact options, community members can stay connected with their hall and the Trust can continue to grow this historic venue for future generations.
